After a very busy 2016 and an even busier start to 2017, we have taken some time out today to relax, reflect & think about the upcoming wedding trends for this year!

We have loved working alongside our lovely couples, getting to know them and building relationships while having some laughs along the way.
Thank you all for your lovely comments and appreciation of all our hard work. Feel free to read some of our reviews from the year on our Facebook page – they made us feel very loved!

Already we know that 2017 is going to be a busy year for us, and we are loving the new emerging wedding trends. So, we thought we would share a few of our favourites with you…

Coppers and metallics are still very strong and going to be around for a long time. Their warm tones add a touch of glam making every colour scheme pop.

Pastels and muted tones are still very much to the forefront with charcoal blue-greys and grey-browns having a big presence, giving a timeless and sophisticated feel.

In contrast to these pastel shades, deep berry and burgundy will be making an appearance in the latter part of this year.

Single tier wedding cakes are proving very popular creating elegance with simplicity.
Remembering the old saying, “less is more”

Flowers are a big part of your special day  and help to soften your venue and colours.
As the year progresses we have noticed an abundance of lush, foliage – giving fullness and texture to bouquets and arrangements.  The year will even see all-greenery bouquets make an appearance!

Chair Covers

We find our brides favouring the chiavari chairs, as opposed to chair covers and sashes as they again create a much more simple elegance.

Strongly favoured in 2017 is the rustic venue with very opulent decor giving that beautiful vintage glam twist.
